Tom studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Surrey, where he graduated with first class honours. He was awarded the Fredric Barnes Waldron Best Student Award 2018 by IMEchE for the highest overall achievement in his year.
Following graduation, Tom worked as a Project Analyst in the automotive industry before moving into a building services design role where he gained experience working in mechanical and electrical building services design engineering. Tom specialises in environmental modelling and the design and specification of heating, cooling, ventilation and piped service systems.
He joined E3 in April 2024 and has worked on a range of projects including a crematorium and a residential scheme for a Buddhist monastery.
He is skilled in CAD and Revit, environmental design analysis, internal project management and has experience of commissioning and handover of construction schemes.
Tom is interested in environmentally ambitious projects that target passive designs with low carbon solutions.
Tom is working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer with CIBSE.
