Levi Thompson

Levi read Mechanical Engineering at Bath University, graduating in 2011 with a Masters degree (MEng).

Levi’s association with E3 goes back to his undergraduate placement year and dissertation, which was done in conjunction with E3, and investigated the impact of combining Life Cycle Assessment with dynamic simulation.

After graduating, he joined Max Fordham working on a range of projects, and in 2016 he rejoined E3, working first in London, then later joining E3 in Bristol as a Senior Engineer.

Levi has experience in all aspects of mechanical building services with a particular interest in reducing energy consumption in buildings through the use of dynamic and daylight modelling, renewable technologies and intuitive user controls. He has undertaken projects across a range of industry sectors including Arts and Theatre, Education, Commercial, and the refurbishment of historic buildings.

He is currently working toward Chartered Engineer status.
