Hema studied Electrical Power and Energy Systems at Teesside University, graduating in 2024 with a Master’s degree (MSc), and she is working towards professional accreditation with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

Hema has joined E3 Consulting Engineers as an Electrical Engineer and supports on projects across a range of sectors. Her building services experience includes delivering coordinated electrical designs and supporting multidisciplinary teams on a variety of schemes.

Hema’s interests lie in sustainable and low-carbon building design. She specialises in developing practical electrical solutions that align with both client requirements and UK regulatory standards. She has experience in the design of lighting, small power, fire alarm and ELV systems, and has contributed to projects targeting efficient and compliant building performance. Hema’s knowledge of electrical distribution, combined with her experience using industry-standard design software, enables her to provide reliable and well-considered engineering support.

Her early career includes international experience delivering detailed electrical designs across multiple sectors. She is a proficient user of AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in electrical design software including Amtech and Dialux.
