The award winning redevelopment of a historic, city centre site as part of a wider regeneration plan to provide a new centre for heritage, leisure, arts and culture in Worcester.
Derelict and inactive for many years, the heritage buildings have been refurbished and repurposed to provide spaces for a mixed-use development with an arts studio, flexible office and events space, café and retail facilities.
The project includes redevelopment of the site to provide ten new residential units: seven 3-bed and 4-bed townhouses, and three 3-bedroom flats. The flats and townhouses are individually heated using condensing gas fired boilers, and underfloor heating. They are built to a high passive standard with good U values and ait tightness. The buildings also have a PV array as part of their low carbon strategy.
