This project is a new build, isolated Performing Arts Centre with a 350 seat Theatre Auditorium and Dance Studio at Rendcomb College, near Cirencester, and part of the site is below ground. This project is approaching completion and includes renewable energy technological solutions for the heating and hot water usage.

Following a detailed thermal appraisal, the scheme includes a ventilation system comprising air handling units with heat recovery for the 367 occupants with the heating and cooling requirements provided by a heat pump system. The spaces are heated by an underfloor heating system with the ventilation systems automatically controlled to suit the operation and occupation of the various areas of the building.

The lighting is predominantly LED with some T5 fluorescent used in BOH spaces such as stores, plantrooms and technical galleries.
