The project at Powis Castle involved carrying out a series of surveys of the electrical power, heating and domestic hot water systems. The aim of the work was to produce a comprehensive record of the existing systems and advise on a strategy to address current issues and plan for long term enhancements. This includes an appraisal of options for decarbonisation of the site by installing low carbon heating technologies, to replace or supplement the existing gas fired boilers.
