The new visitor and water sports centre for Lisvane and Llanishen reservoirs in South Wales is set in a designated site of special scientific interest. The two storey centre provides changing facilities with showers, a café, and training rooms for community use.

A heat recovery ventilation system operates within the changing rooms, and waste water heat recovery systems are installed to recover waste heat from showers. A commercial café/restaurant is located on the first floor with services hidden from view to augment views across the two reservoirs. A generous photovoltaic array is located on the roof to maximise renewable energy generation.
