This project was a new digital multimedia centre for the local community of Knowle West in Bristol.

The building includes an auditorium, teaching spaces, communal offices and meeting rooms. It was constructed using a modular straw bale system and includes a biomass boiler, solar hot water generation and below ground rainwater harvesting system.

The building is predominantly naturally ventilated with mechanical ventilation with heat recovery for the noise sensitive spaces.
