Kelling Estate is a collection of new and restored residential cottages in Norfolk. The properties are served by a biomass district heating system which was one of the first medium scale wood chip boilers to be commissioned in the UK.

E3 were employed to carry out an assessment of the performance of the system, and a review of the heating energy consumption for the properties using bench marking data.
