Cathedral School Llandaff is situated adjacent to the Old Bishop’s Palace in Llandaff on Cardiff Road, Cardiff. E3 has worked with the school since 2012 and has completed a series of successful projects as part of the school’s development masterplan.

Our most recent project with is the new Memorial Hall which officially opened in January 2017. The building was constructed on the footprint of a post-war community hall located between the main school campus and the local high street. It provides a multipurpose hall, offices and teaching spaces for the school. The building is linked to the adjacent nursery via a landscaped play area and is used by the school as a dining hall for the nursery. The hall is also used by the local community for various neighbourhood events.

Heating for the building is provided via underfloor heating. The main hall is mechanically ventilated and benefits from natural lighting through high level openable clerestory windows.
