The new sports centre for Truro School was opened by Sir Ben Ainslie in October 2013.

The building comprises a large eight court sports hall, which has been designed for major events. The two storey accommodation block has a large viewing gallery, teaching spaces and full fitness suite designed for use by both students and the public. The ground floor has two squash courts and full changing room suite for use both internally and externally. The main hall has water based radiant heating, and has a fresh air ventilation system to maintain a fresh environment in the colder months, which has full heat recovery. The hall is naturally lit from rooflights incorporated into the skin. During the summer, most of the building is naturally ventilated, with cooling available for the fitness suite.
