Cathedral School is situated on the old Bishop’s Palace at Llandaff in Cardiff. It is a sensitive site that includes a number of historic and Grade II listed buildings in a conservation area. E3 has worked with the school since 2012 and has completed a series of successful projects as part of the school’s development masterplan.

The Lodge is separated from the rest of the school by a historic public footpath which is bounded by a listed wall. The Lodge accommodates both the nursery and infant schools which were relocated from two separate buildings within the school site. The project involved a new extension to an existing Grade II listed building and the refurbishment of the M&E services and the building itself.
