A new rehoming centre for the Dogs Trust at Basildon. This is the 4th project in a series of new rehoming centres, with a focus on new and sustainable facilities. The scheme involves the development of a new site to the north of Basildon, and will house kennels, veterinary services, training and teaching and administration facilities. The building is designed to be ultra low energy, with the heating system using a wood pellet boiler, and hot water generated using solar thermal panels.  Due for completion October 2013, with a budget construction cost £7m.
