The work comprised a phased upgrade of the ventilation systems at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London. The first phase was carried out during the summer of 2007 and included general modifications to the existing ventilation system. The second phase, in 2008, included a new air handling unit, new ductwork at roof level and within the building, together with chilled water and controls systems. There are future phases of work planned, and we are continuing our input. All of this work has been carried out during ongoing performances, most of which have been full house, and not one performance has been lost. We are now looking at further modification phases including new chiller and modifications to the heating system.
